A country where Golf has earned its popularity is none other than China. Ever since the game was first time played in 1968 there were just 600 golf courses but the numbers have now reached to thousands. More than a casual form of game, Golf has also evolved as a professional form too.

Professional golf has become more popular ever since a genius player like Tiger Woods got associated with it. His sheer class in playing game took the popularity of game to a new level of excellence.

The main tournaments of Golf (Men) are The Masters, The US Open, The Open Championship and the PGA championship.

Women's major tournaments include LPGA Tour, US Women's Open and more.

As far as the senior category of the classic game goes, it's Champion Tour that's arguably the most hyped yet famous tourney.
